The Rev. Father Nolan died in 1897.
Bridget Nolan née Delahunty (1899-1938) of Rochestown, Glenmore [Obit Munster Express, Fri. 8 July 1938, p. 8]
We regret to record the death of Mrs. B. Nolan, widow of the late Mr. John Nolan, Ballincrea, in which sad event occurred in hospital in Kilkenny on Wednesday last.
Deceased, who was aged 35 years, was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Delahunty, Rochestown, Glenmore, and sister of Messrs J. and M. Delahunty, do.; William Delahunty, Ballincrea, and Mrs. Carew, Ballindud, to all of whom sincere sympathy will be extended on their sad bereavement. She had been in failing health for some time, and was in hospital for the past fortnight. Her passing was learned of with regret in her native district, where she was well known and widely esteemed. Mary Nolan née Dillon (c. 1891-1939), native of Rochestown, Glenmore [Obit in the Munster Express on Friday the 2nd of June 1939]
GAEL BEREAVED—The sympathy of his many friends will be extended to Mr. Larry Dillon, Fahee, the well-known South Kilkenny Gael on the death of his sister, Mrs. Mary Nolan which occurred with tragic suddenness at her home at Bendenstown, Ballon, Countv Carlow at the comparatively early age of 48 years. Deceased, who was formerly of Glenmore had been residing in Carlow for the past 22 years, and leaves a husband and five children in family, whose ages range from 7 years to 19 years. Her passing is deeply and deservedly regretted. The late Mrs. Nolan was als0 sister of Mr. John Dillon, Rochestown, Glenmore; Mrs. T. Dunne, Clifford St. Wexford; and Mrs. Heneberry, Croydon, London.—R.I.P.

WEDDING IN SLIEVERUE—The marriage took place at Slieverue Church on Saturday morning, by the Rev. D. Hughes, D.D., C.C., of Mr. Raymond Looney, only son of Mr. T.D. Looney, Co. C., and an official of the Irish Transport & General Workers’ Union, and Mrs. Looney, Blarney, Co. Cork, and Miss May Nolan, daughter of Mrs. Nolan the late Patrick Nolan, Davidstown, Co. Kilkenny. The best man was Mr. Sean Mackey, cousin of the bridegroom, and the bride was attended by her sister, Miss Betty Nolan.
The bridegroom is attached to Blarney Woolen Mills, and is an official of the Cork County Athletic and Cycling Board. His bride, previous to her marriage, had been employed in Birmingham, England. She was charmingly attired in mustard and brown, and carried a prayer book. The bridesmaid wore tan with navy accessories, and also carried a prayer book. Both the bride and bridegroom were the recipients of many costly presents. The reception was held at Waterford, and later the happy couple left for Ardmore on their honeymoon. Their many years of happiness at their future home in Cork.

On 19 February 1833 Luke Norrice married Mary Kennedy of Rathinure, Glenmore.
Michael Norris [no townland provided][DD Notebook 15, parish records]
Michael Norris, son of John Norris and Mary Aylward was baptised on the 19th of November 1853. Sponsors: Richard Rigby and Catherine Lalor.
John Norris, of Weatherstown, Glenmore [DD Notebook 14, interview of Misses Breen, formerly of Manor St. and now of Bank St., Waterford in 1969]
John Norris, of Weatherstown Glenmore was married to an Aylward. They had at least 8 children.
[1] Ned Norris, in America. Died unmarried at sea. He was the youngest.
[2] John Norris was in America over 40 years. Was married and had family. Dead about 19 years.
[3] Michael Norris was a sanitary inspector in Waterford. Died in 1941.
[4] James Norris was in the RIC. Lived and died in Abbeyside, Dungarvan. He died in April 1964.
[5] Patrick Norris died in Waterford in 1951. Married and had family. He worked in St. Alteran’s Hospital where he was an attendant.
[6] Bridget Norris was a nun of the Sacred Heard of Mary Order. Left the Order late in life but never lost touch with the nuns. She died in 1957 in her late 70’s.
[7] A daughter died young.
[8] Mary Norris, married William Breen, of Waterford. William Breen was born in 1879 and his father was from Campile, County Wexford. William Breen was a member of the RIC. Mary Norris died in 1963 aged 81 years. The Breen’s had 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.

DEATH OF MRS. THOMAS NORRIS—We much regret to announce the death of Mrs. Thomas Norris, of Rathfadden Cottage who departed this life at her brother’s (Richard Fitzgerald’s) residence, Glenmore, on Thursday, and whose remains were removed for interment Saturday at half-past ten o’clock at the family burial ground, Glenmore. She leaves four young orphan children to mourn her loss. [Per the death register Mary Norris died at her Aylwardstown on 3 Nov. 1904. She was 33 years of age, and the widow of a cattle dealer. Her brother Richard was present when she died of suspected TB. Mary Fitzgerald married Thomas Norris (farmer) on 7 Jan. 1894. Thomas was of Rathfadden Cottage, and son of Patrick Norris. Mary was the daughter of John Fitzgerald (farmer). Per the birth register Mary Fitzgerald was born on 26 Dec. 1869 at Aylwardstown the daughter of John Fitzgerald (farmer) and his wife Margaret Donovan. Mary’s husband Thomas Norris died on 10 Sept. 1902 at Rathfadden Cottage. He was a 35 year old farmer and died of TB. He received medical treatment for 4.5 months before his death. His sister Margaret Whittle of Yellow Road, Waterford was present when he died.]

LATE MR. T. NORRIS—The death occurred on Saturday of Mr. Thos. Norris, at his residence, Ballykerogue, Campile, and the remains were removed to Horeswood Church the same evening.
